In TRONSHOW2012, "The Next-generation Real-time System Technology Exhibition" and "Ubiquitous Computing Exhibition" are held at the same time with the participation of many exhibitors. "The Next-generation Real-time System Technology Exhibition" introduces cutting-edge advanced embedded real-time technology for middleware, development environment and application systems, etc. "Ubiquitous Computing Exhibition" introduces tags, reader/writers, terminals, solutions, and applications of ubiquitous computing. This showcase exhibits the latest roadmap and details of TRON specification OS including μT-Kernel, MP T-Kernel, T-Kernel 2.0, and new T-Kernel Extension 2.0. Applications and development environments are also highlighted.

●Ubiquitous Computing Showcase
This showcase gives the visitors a glimpse of ubiquitous computing or the IoT (Internet of Things) environment where computers are embedded in various objects and places and networked, and the latest technologies, applications, and services.
Technologies for ubiquitous computing and IoT are explained from the viewpoints of uID technology from its basics to application, application development, international deployment and standardization activities, and others.

●International Special Session "Globalizing TRON, T-Kernel, and Ubiquitous Computing"

Embedded computing technologies and ubiquitous computing technologies are well known throughout the world. They have been promoted as various approaches such as "IoT: Internet of Things" and "M2M: Machine-to-Machine" in Europe, "物聯網" and "感知中国" in China, "Cyber-Physical" in the U.S., etc. In this session, the people on the front line of these fields from Europe and Asia (China) report on the approaches for embedded computing systems and ubiquitous computing in the world.

●Special Session "The Great East Japan Earthquake on March 11 and Ubiquitous Computing"

On March 11, 2011, Japan was struck by the Great East Japan Earthquake with the unprecedented earthquake and tsunamis. Moreover, the disaster triggered the nuclear accident in Fukushima and many people in and around the Tohoku district were affected by the disaster. Currently, we are working on the recovery all over Japan in cooperation with the nations around the world. This session discusses how ubiquitous technologies can be used for disaster prevention and relief efforts, and how they can contribute to the recovery and the urban infrastructure in the future.


Many other speeches and seminars will be held, where the latest ubiquitous ID technology and application examples, the information on and application examples of the embedded systems development such as the latest T-Engine/T-Kernel, etc. will be introduced through the panel sessions, speeches, etc. by the leaders from the various fields.
