New Year’s greeting
In 2012, many projects will be launched by the comprehensive agreement with the organizations and countries in EU which was announced in December 2011. For example, feasibility study experiments related to ubiquitous computing/IoT (Internet of Things) such as smart houses, traceability systems using the uID Center which has been established in Finland, and a uID showroom to be established in London as part of our enlightenment and promotion activities. Relating to the embedded systems development, to become the foundation to realize the IoT, education and promotion activities led by universities in Italy for T-Kernel, open real-time OS, etc. are also planned.
Joint research for the IoT (物聯網 in Chinese) will start in Wuxi in spring.
T2EX, the standard extension middleware of T-Kernel 2.0 will be released soon.
An open experiment using smart phones for Tokyo Ubiquitous Technology Project in Ginza have already started.
