TRONSHOW2010 (organized by T-Engine Forum/TRON ASSOCIATION) was held at Tokyo Midtown in Roppongi, Tokyo from Wednesday, December 9 to Friday, December 11. It had various sessions such as "Latest IT Topics in China - From supercomputer to T-Engine," "Extending the NoTA Application Fields." In the session "Using TRON-based Devices in Earth Orbit," JAXA staff discussed ITRON and T-Kernel which are used for spacecrafts such as "Hayabusa," "Akari," "Suzaku," "Kaguya," etc. "Human Resource Development of Embedded Systems Engineers - Case Studies from Educational Institutions" session had educators explain that TRON technology has been used for the educational research in the embedded systems field at educational institutions such as university, vocational school, etc. amid calls for the lack of embedded systems engineer. T-Engine Forum supported and exhibited at Embedded Technology (ET) 2009 which was held from Wednesday, November 18 to Friday, November 20, 2009 at PACIFICO YOKOHAMA in Minato Mirai, Yokohama, organized by Japan Embedded Systems Technology Association. The registration for participation in the feasibility study experiment of FY2009 "Tokyo Ubiquitous Technology Project" which has been conducted by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government in cooperation with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism has started since Tuesday, December 1, 2009. By walking in Ginza with Ubiquitous Communicator (UC), you can experience the route guidance to your destination and the service to automatically provide you with the information related to your current location. Also, you can experience the panorama guidance at the Observatories of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building, the guidance at the Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly Building, etc. in Shinjuku area.
