1. The first FPGA-based T-Engine board It accelerates the development of embedded systems for user-specific designs by utilizing FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array), a type of programmable hardware. In this kit, a large and high performance FPGA (Xilinx® Virtex®-4 device) includes built-in CPU itself as IP core, which providing extremely flexible system.

2. The first LAN Built-in T-Engine board Since many of embedded systems have the network connection today, LAN on development/evaluation boards are becoming an required function. T-Engine offers an optional LAN function using extension boards, however T-Engine/PPC-V4FX Development Kit offers LAN as a standard function by using dedicated IP included in the same FPGA as CPU to control LAN. PMC ported “T-Kernel” to x86 architecture for the first time in the world, and started providing this as “custom version PMC T-Kernel/x86” with the specified customers on Nov., 2006.
