Successful development of Multiprocessor compatible MP T-Kernel

YRP Ubiquitous Networking Laboratory, Sakamura Laboratory at the University of Tokyo and T-Engine Forum successfully developed a multiprocessor version of MP T-Kernel and its platform, T-Engine/MP211, in which multi-core processors are embedded.

eSOL Co., Ltd. announced that it has completed support for the standard T-Engine board (T-Engine/VR5701) incorporating NEC Electronics' MIPS architecture-based 64 bit CPU "VR5701A" for the expanded T-Kernel of eSOL "eT-Kernel" and the T-Kernel based system development suite "eBinder" and has released them. By adopting eT-Kernel and eBinder for the development of software on T-Engine/VR5701, a high-performance and reliable system can be efficiently developed.

The YRP Ubiquitous Networking Laboratory has developed the "UC (Ubiquitous Communicator) for Business use", a handy terminal for business use with the ucode resolution function.
The newly developed UC for business use is environmentally resistant with high dust and water resistance, and robust, which are the requirements for business use, and it also has a longer battery life.
ucodes are obtained by reading authorized RFID ucode tags of 13.56MHz ISO15693 standard, as well as by using one-dimensional or two-dimensional barcode readers with CCD cameras.

Release of the "TX-XC3S500E" FPGA Expansion Board for T-Engine
Personal Media Corporation.

Personal Media Corporation has released an FPGA expansion board for T-Engine with Xilinx's "TX-XC3S500E" FPGA on Feb. 20.
Now that this expansion board with Xilinx's FPGA has been released, and along with the previously released FPGA expansion board by Altera Corporation, expansion boards by two major FPGA manufacturers are available on Personal Media's web shop.
